What You’ll Do:

Thought Leadership Strategy

  • Expand upon and lead Karis thought leadership initiatives, with a goal of further establishing Karis as the go to source for health benefits, patient advocacy, bill negotiation, healthcare cost-containment, and general healthcare innovation content.
  • Develop multi-channel communication strategies with compelling and resonating content to most effectively influence and impact target personas.
  • Leverage quantitative and qualitative findings to identify opportunities for new content creation.
  • Ideate and brainstorm content formats, assets and topical focus to drive Karis thought leader reputation.
  • Lead long term strategic content planning efforts.

Content/Editorial Calendar Management

  • Own all aspects of the Karis Content Calendar. This will involve creating and curating all Karis marketing and sales content, including but not limited to blogs, social media posts, white papers, infographics, eBooks, case studies, webinars, podcasts, videos & marketing collateral.
  • Manage full blog calendar, including proactive outreach to internal blog authors, identification of external authors, coordination of blog partnerships, scheduling of all blog content, and moderation of any conversation & commentary related to blogs.
  • “Connect the dots” between trending Healthcare and Benefits industry topics, upcoming catalysts, and health policy priorities to build content relevant to target personas.
  • Create programming and curate events, including small roundtables, discussions at industry conferences, webinars, VIP meetups and teleconferences.
  • Assist in creation and management of copy for web, email, marketing and sales content.
  • Create and publish periodic weekly and monthly communications performance reports.
  • Conduct a/b testing methodology to optimize campaigns with measurable goals and outcomes.
  • Responsible for reporting and analyzing multi-channel marketing campaigns; conducting literature reviews and market research to determine opportunities to optimize, increase efficiencies and maximize return on marketing investment.

Social Media Coordination

  • Manage publication and moderate conversation on Karis social media presences, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter & LinkedIn.
  • Own scheduling of original content to be published and curation of thought leadership content to be shared.
  • Stay up to date on Healthcare industry trends and curate relevant content for Karis digital presences.


  • 1-3+ years professional experience with proven track record in developing highly effective messaging, presentations and marketing content.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or similar field.
  • 1-3+ years of multi-channel strategy and planning experience.
  • Experience with HubSpot, Buffer,, Google Analytics and other marketing automation platforms.
