To make the dollar threshold easy for members to understand and for clients to administer, we usually combine all bills from a single related medical incident to calculate the dollar threshold and determine eligibility. If a member's bills collectively exceed the dollar threshold, we provide Patient Advocacy for all the bills related to the medical incident regardless of how small or large the bills or how numerous the providers.
