The dollar threshold acts as a trigger for our services, throttling volume and thereby determining pricing. To make the dollar threshold easy for your members or employees to understand and for clients to administer, we usually combine all bills from a single related medical incident to calculate the dollar threshold and determine eligibility. If the out-of-pocket or patient responsibility portion of a member's or employee's bills exceed the dollar threshold, our services are triggered and we work on all the bills related to the medical incident regardless of how small or large the bills or how numerous the providers.
