Assistance for Individuals

The Karis Group is a medical bill negotiation firm that works exclusively with larger corporations and non-profit organizations. We do not provide funds to pay medical bills, but only work to mediate between patients and providers.

We recognize that many people have difficulty paying expensive medical bills and are looking for assistance.  In an effort to assist those most in need, we allow individuals meeting the guidelines below to submit an application for free mediation assistance from Karis.  Our team evaluates all cases submitted and assists those with the greatest need.

Due to the volume of requests we receive and to be fair to everyone, we can only evaluate requests that meet the two requirements below and that are submitted through our online form.

• You must be without insurance and have unpaid medical bills that exceed $25,000; and
• You must have exhausted all other reasonable means of paying or settling the unpaid bills.

We review all applications submitted in accordance with the criteria above and accept applications from those deemed most in need. We will contact you if your application is accepted or if we need additional information to determine whether your application can be accepted.

These page provide all of the information we can give to individuals. We respectfully request that you do not contact us via phone or email if you are seeking information beyond what these pages provide or if your application is not accepted. We are unfortunately only able to mediate for free on behalf of those deemed most in need.
